On behalf of the University of Texas at San Antonio Career Center, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself! My name is Maureen Wilson and I am the new Assistant Director of Employer Services and I am thrilled to become a part of this great team!

I am an alumnus of The University of Texas at San Antonio and earned my degree in Business. I bring with me 15 years of experience working with employers and job seekers to find the right fit for both. I have worked with employers in the areas of Employment Law as well as recruiting within the Georgia Department of Labor. My responsibilities included ensuring the employers had the resources they needed to find and access to the best qualified candidates for all types of positions within their organizations.

I am very pleased to be back home at my alma mater and look forward to working with you to assist you and your organization to connect with the very best pool of UTSA graduates and students available to fill your recruiting needs!

The UTSA Career Center offers a diverse range of services, which are designed to reach the student or graduate profile that your organization may be seeking. Our professional staff is eager to assist employers to find the best strategies to reach the most qualified applicant(s).

Some ways in which we can assist your organization are through Rowdy Jobs, our online job bank that allow you to post your jobs online, schedule on-campus recruiting, table recruiting, information sessions, and career fairs and expos. We can also assist you with establishing and staffing internships and coop programs. UTSA hosts several top-notch career fairs throughout the year to give employers the opportunity to recruit the very best.

As a Registered Employer you have the opportunity to:

  • Post all your job openings: internships, part-time and full-time.
  • Self-manage the content and timing of your job postings thereby keeping them fresh and current.
  • Review and choose resumes online only from the UTSA Students that meet your previously established qualifications.
  • Communicate directly with students via e-mail and receive student applications online.
  • Utilize one of our six interview rooms available for reservation that allows you to conveniently meet with applicants. Each interview room is equipped with High Speed Wi-Fi or wireless connectivity to the Internet
