UTSA Scholarships

Scholarship Deadline:  February 15

Applicants must be admitted to the University by no later than the March 15 priority deadline in order to be considered for General Scholarships. However, first-time freshman and transfer students applying for scholarships through ApplyTexas are eligible to apply for the Felix and Elizabeth McKinney Scholarships, the deadline is December 1 and they must also be admitted to UTSA by December 1. Current UTSA students can apply for General Scholarships directly through their ASAP account by clicking on the Financial Aid tab. Some scholarships require additional documentation at which time, students selected as finalists will be contacted to provide. The scholarship application will close at midnight on February 15. 


Several scholarships have a need-based component so it is important that students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid by the March 15 priority deadline.
