Sustainable businesses work to create a more environmentally friendly world, and the Institute for Economic Development's Sustainable Business Program is here to help.
Recyclemania
The committed involvement of all members of the UTSA community resulted in 188,184 pounds of collected recyclable material in the 2011 competition. That's 94.1 tons and an increase of more than 35 percent over last year. UTSA placed 103rd out of a total of 363 schools participating in the "Gorilla Prize Competition" category.
