UTSA Alumni Association Members are invited to the Witte Museum for “Mad Science” experiments and a private pre-event reception, with food, spooky music, hands-on experiments and frightening festivities. The event is for adults over the age of 21 and costumes are encouraged!

In conjunction with STEM Fest, the College of Engineering host its popular Monster Mash Pumpkin Smash, an event that challenges students of all majors to design and build a medieval trebuchet (or catapult) that will launch and destroy a pumpkin.

College of Business Research Showcase highlights the applied research of business faculty members on diverse topics such as auction fever, destructive leadership, insider threat and superstar software in the video game industry. Training provided by the Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC) will provide insight to the many transitions that military children and families must make over the course of a military member's career. Participants will receive useful resources and techniques for assisting families and hear about current practices in resilience and the dynamics of the schools, the family, and the military culture.

5K race with walking and running to promote health and wellness. Race participants will receive an event t-shirt, and prizes will be awarded to winners of each category while healthy snacks, chair massages, and giveaways will be available to all. Students in the dance studios perform in a showcase of dance. Performance is free. Parking is on an individual-pay basis in the garage off of Pecos-La Trinidad.
