MCAT (Medical College Admissions Test)

The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) in cooperation with its member United States medical schools developed the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT). The MCAT assesses mastery of problem solving and critical thinking, and writing skills.

The goal of the MCAT is to help admission committees predict which of their applicants will be successful in medical school. Practice test information is available here.

Please go to www.aamc.org/students/applying/mcat for scheduling and registration questions for the MCAT Exam.

MCAT registration is available only online. You will be able to access their web registration site approximately 8 to 12 weeks prior to each test date http://www.aamc.org/students/mcat/registration.htm.
