Welcome!The Office of Extended Education provides continuing education offerings to a national audience, along with continuing to offer South Central Texas and the San Antonio communities with top quality programs and workshops. As you look through our website, you will find a variety of quality workshops and programs in professional and career development, computer training, test preparation, and certification programs. Our workshops and courses are offered in classroom and online settings. The Office of Extended Education, housed in the Downtown Campus, understands the importance of lifelong learning and is striving to meet the professional and career needs of our national and local communities. We look forward to expanding Extended Education as a strong foundation of the UTSA and Downtown communities. Register Early We urge students to register early due to the limited size of many of our classes. Tuition must be paid in full prior to the start of a class. Refunds You will receive a refund (minus $10 processing fee) if you withdraw from a class and notify us in writing prior to the class start date. Otherwise, we will convert your full payment to a nonrefundable credit you can apply toward any future class. This credit is good up to six months from original date of payment. Transfers You may transfer to another course if we receive a written request from you at least five working days before the start of the new course. A transfer fee of $10 and the difference in tuition (if any) will be required in order to finalize the transfer. Course Changes The Office of Extended Education reserves the right to substitute instructors, rearrange class schedules or cancel classes due to insufficient enrollments. In case of class cancellation, you will receive a full refund. UTSA Alumni UTSA Alumni members are entitled to a discount on most Extended Education classes. Call 458-4133 for membership information. Continuing Education Credit Professional associations, boards, societies and organizations require their professional members to maintain their skills up-to-date. Many of our Extended Education programs are designated to issue Contact Hours and/or Continuing Education Credits (CEUs). For additional information call 458-2411.
