Q: I already registered but forgot my Log In and Password information.

Contact Career Center at (210) 458-4589 or by email: career.services@utsa.edu to retrieve your account information instead of creating a new account profile.

Q: How long does it take to post a job in the UTSA RowdyJobs?

A:

By using the online job posting feature, jobs that you enter will post within 2 business days. Job Forms and faxes forwarded to Career Center may take up to (3) business days to post.

Q: How long can I post a position?

A:

A job can posted for up to (3) consecutive 30 day cycles within a (6) month period unless multiple positions exist and UTSA students or alumni have been hired.

Q: What is a student online referral?

A:

When a student submits a resume to your job posting, you will receive an email notification. To review the resume click on the link within the email to view the resume in PDF format.

Q: Why can't I see the student resume when I click on the link within the referral email?

A:

The referral link is only active for 48 hours. After 48 hours you must log on with your user name and password to review the resume. Log on and select My Activity, and view student referrals.

Q: When may I use US citizenship as a required condition for filling a job?

A:

Only government agencies or those who have government contracts requiring US citizenship may choose 'US Citizen' in the citizenship field.

Q: My question is not on this list - can I talk with someone at Career Center?

A:

Become a Registered Employer and be currently seeking students for internships or full-time degreed positions.
