Professional Etiquette Dinner

All students and alumni are invited to attend the Career Services Professional Etiquette Dinner and enjoy a delicious four course meal while learning the art of fine dining. This is an excellent opportunity to polish your skills and learn all about social dining etiquette.

Seniors and graduate students are strongly encouraged to attend. Employers are demanding that new hires are well-versed in the social graces. At some point in your job search process, you will be invited to eat during an interview, so Career Services wants to help you be prepared. According to a survey conducted by an independent research firm, 49 percent of chief financial officers said their most successful business meetings, outside the office, were conducted at a restaurant. Furthermore, employers say that a person's table manners (or lack thereof) may be a deciding factor in securing a signed contract. Tickets are $15.00 per person and may be purchased until Friday, October 3rd. UTSA students and Alumni may bring a guest.
