A hold is placed on your record to let you know that some form of action is needed. This action could be anything from meeting with an advisor to paying a parking ticket to turning in a transcript. When you have a hold, there are certain things that you will be unable to do, such as register for classes, view your grades, or order a transcript. To see if you have any holds, log into ASAP and click on the 'Student Records' tab and scroll down to 'My Holds.'
