Among the 251 current endowments are: 13 Distinguished Chairs 7 Chairs 6 Distinguished Professorships 9 Professorships 1 Fellowship 193 Scholarships 42 General Support Funds
Not only are more and more individuals, corporations and foundations making the University a philanthropic priority, more donors are recognizing the importance of a strong endowment to UTSA as it moves toward premier research university status.
Endowed chairs and professorships are very important in helping UTSA's academic leaders to continue to recruit outstanding faculty. Endowed scholarships are helping to attract some very bright and talented students to academic programs throughout the University.
