This fall, the Fam Fair was held at the Downtown Campus on October 13th in the Bill Miller Plaza and was attended by over 300 participants. This event is designed to engage Graduate/evening/weekend students and their families who don’t often get the opportunity to participate in everyday campus life. Fam Fair was created as a weekend opportunity for the entire family to feel connected to the UTSA campus community.
Highlights of the event included hands-on, interactive educational sessions with live animals from Zoomagination, along with Child Safety Finger Printing by the UTSA Police, “Don’t Drink & Drive” educational booths with SAPD and Texas A&M, San Antonio Fire Department, as well as family friendly activities such as a professional balloon artist, bouncy castle, and create your own stuffed animal that included a UTSA T-shirt. Live music was performed by UTSA student, Bryan Keith and the Texas Reign.
