No event should be publicized until a printed reservation confirmation (including a reference number) has been received from the Office of Events Management & Conference Services (EMCS). Requestors advertising an event before receiving a confirmation assume all risk of advertising if the information is incorrect. Advertising events on campus must follow approved posting and solicitation guidelines.
Clients holding special use events that are independent of the university may not state or otherwise imply the university's endorsement of their events.
