Family Weekend Recap
October 23 and 24 marked the return of UTSA annual family weekend activities. Now in its third consecutive year, hundreds of family members were back on campus to take part in a number of student events.

BestFest 2009 Highlights
It's a UTSA tradition like no other... BestFest in the Sombrilla! The annual festival is sponsored by the Campus Activites Board (CAB), and gives student organizations the chance to sell food and beverage items as a fundraiser. This year's festival took place the day before Halloween day, and UTSA students took full advantage of the day to dress up like their favorite character.

Scholarships for Spring 2010
The Family Association is pleased to announce it will be awarding three scholarships for the spring 2010 semester. To be eligible, students must have been enrolled at UTSA for the fall 2009 semester and must have a family membership to the Family Association. Thank you to all UTSA parents who have generously given to the scholarship fund.
