Payment Options for Student Athletes
If the financial aid that you are receiving does n
ot cover your bill at UTSA, there are several payment options available to you:

Installment Plans:
You can request the installment plan option on your ASAP account. With this option, you will be required to pay 50% of your bill upfront, and the remaining balance in two separate 25% payments throughout the semester. There is a $16 fee to use this option.

E-Check:
You can pay directly from your checking or savings account by utilizing the e-check option on your ASAP account. There is no fee to use this service.

Checks, Cash, Credit Cards:
These options are also available to pay your bill. You can pay with credit card on your ASAP account or by calling 210-458-8000 (option 2). Only Mastercard and Discover are accepted and there is a charge of 1.855% of your balance to use this option.
A hold will be placed on your account for an unpaid balance which will prevent registration for the upcoming semester. Please check your ASAP account prior to registration to confirm that there is not a balance on your account. For questions about your balance, please call 210-458-8000, or stop by the Financial Aid and Enrollment Services office.
