UTSAccess Program

Program Description

The UTSAccess program is designed to promote the timely graduation of undergraduates from UTSA for Texas residents and is available for up to four years as long as all financial and academic eligibility conditions are met. The UTSAccess program guarantees to cover only UTSA tuition and mandatory fees for Texas residents pursuing an undergraduate degree at UTSA for the fall and spring semesters only.  Eligible participants will receive gift aid (grants and/or scholarships) to meet the cost of tuition and mandatory fees for the fall and spring semesters only. Work-study and low interest student loans will be awarded to cover additional educational costs such as room, board and transportation.

UTSAccess Contracts

Students in the UTSAccess Program are required to sign contracts every year prior to disbursement of financial aid. Please read and sign the acceptance letter. Your contract will be posted to your ASAP account under the Financial Aid tab. You will not receive your 2014 - 2015 financial aid disbursement until you have returned your signed contract.

First-time freshmen or continuing students who fail to submit the contracts will not receive their financial aid. The contracts reiterate the program stipulations and require a student signature acknowledging that the program requirements are understood. The deadline to submit UTSAccess contracts to remain in the program for 2014-2015 is August 1, 2014 for both first-time freshmen and continuing students. If you cannot locate your contract, please contact Financial Aid and Enrollment Services.
