Scholarship Deadline: February 15
Applicants must be admitted to the University by no later than the March 15 priority deadline in order to be considered for General Scholarships.
However, the Distinguished Presidential Scholarship for first-time freshman requires students to be admitted to UTSA by February 14. Transfer students applying for this scholarship must be admitted to UTSA and have their FAFSA submitted by May 1 (for fall) and November 1 (for spring). Current UTSA students can apply for General Scholarships directly through their ASAP account by clicking on the Financial Aid tab. Some scholarships require additional documentation at which time, students selected as finalists will be contacted to provide. The scholarship application will close at midnight on February 15.
Several scholarships have a need-based component so it is important that students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid by the March 15 priority deadline.
Applications for scholarships awarded through UTSA departments and Honors College must be obtained from the respective departments.
