ONLINE PAYMENT THROUGH BANNER ASAP IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Methods of Payment

*NOTICE TO STUDENTS PAYING LESS THAN TOTAL AMOUNT DUE*

When you make an online payment, please be advised that your payment will automatically be applied by the computer system based first on the effective date (e.g. due date of the payment), and then on a priority assigned to each payment item. For example, tuition and fees have a higher priority than non-mandatory fees, such as housing, parking, etc.. If the payment you're making today will:

  • pay your balance in full, OR
  • you don't have a preference as to the order we apply your payment to each individual fee, OR
  • you're paying a balance with the earliest (oldest) effective date

...then you won't need to take any action. Banner will apply your payment per the default application of payment process.

If you would like us to apply your payment to non-mandatory fees, while leaving mandatory fees unpaid or to apply your payment to a current semester balance, while leaving a previous semester balance unpaid, please send an email to Fiscal Services at fiscalservices@utsa.edu requesting they apply your payment to the particular fee(s) you indicate.
