UTSA GEAR UP aims to help at-risk students achieve academic success by offering abundant resources such as:

• College Entrance Exam Information
• Career Information
• Student Activities
• Mentoring
• Scholarship and Financial Aid Information
• Summer Enrichment Programs

We help students prepare for college by encouraging parents and students to choose the recommended high school program, participate in GEAR UP activities, and complete all GEAR UP milestones. Additionally, at the end of our 5-year program, we provide a scholarship to eligible participants who complete the GEAR UP milestones.
