Student travel request forms for geology or environmental
science will be handled through the Geological Sciences
department office located in Science Building 4.03.30.
All requests, even if a
student is not being financially supported by UTSA, need to
be turned in to the department office at least 7 days prior
to the sponsored trip; group trips at least 3 weeks in
advance;
Faculty, if
requesting a rental vehicle to conduct a student field trip,
you must contact the department office 4-weeks in advance
for approval, earlier is desired. All drivers must
take the UTSA drivers safety training course and, the
department has requested a DMV on that driver. All
drivers must be employed by the UTSA as per the HOP.
