The University of Texas System recognizes Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) as a serious public health threat and is committed to encouraging an informed and educated response to issues and questions concerning these infections (HOP 9.22). Information on the methods of transmission and prevention of HIV are available at Student Health Services. Confidential HIV testing is also available at Student Health Services. There is a fee for laboratory test. There is pre-test counseling and post-test counseling. Educational material is available for students to take and read.
HIV Rapid Testing is unavailable during the summer. Please check back for fall dates.
