Welcome to your Student Health Services! Our professional staff provides personalized quality care. Students who are currently registered at UTSA , at the time of service, are eligible to access our services and programs at Student Health Services.
Call in for an appointment. Walk-in office visits are assessed by a nurse. Always present a valid UTSACard.
Medical information is protected by Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Patients are generally responsible for the cost of lab work, immunizations, and prescriptions. The medical fee, paid along with your tuition, gives you access to our services and enables you to the following benefits:
No provider charge for medical visits.
No charge to utilize Health Education programs.
Reduced cost of prescriptions.
Reduced cost in lab work and immunizations.
The medical fee does not replace health insurance. You may need to obtain private insurance for a more comprehensive health coverage. Student UnitedHealthcare
Additional charges may be generated during the visit, including recommended laboratory testing and x-ray referral. These charges are the financial responsibility of the patient.
Payment is due at the time services are rendered. We accept cash, check, UTSACard with a balance, and credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express). MasterCard, Discover, and American Express payments will incur a 1.855% convenience fee at the time of transaction.
