Summer 2004 Study Abroad program: Dr. Richard Diem, Dean of the Honors College, Professor Ana Sterner, and numerous Honors students spent their summer in Santa Chiara, Italy in the first study abroad program offered by the Honors College. The Honors College will return to Italy in Summer 2006! The mission of the Honors College is to
recruit and enrich the education opportunities of academically talented,
curious, motivated, and diverse students through an interdisciplinary curriculum
that includes opportunities for research, service, and leadership.
