UTSA Housing and Residence Life offers unparalleled comfort and convenience when it comes to on-campus housing. Very near to the academic corridor, Chaparral Village and Laurel Village, offer students an outdoor swimming pool, a basketball court, and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the sun. The Roadrunner Café, our main cafeteria, is within easy walking distance of both facilities.
Housing staff members act as catalysts in the development of each student, providing a wide scope of programs and services designed specifically to help students succeed. Strategically placed throughout both villages, are trained student leaders – Residence Assistants - who work diligently to build community and support students in all aspects of their college lives. Our Resident Assistants are supported by and in-house team of professionals in Residence Life, maintenance, custodial, operations and administration. With over 75 years of combined professional experience, our leadership team has the knowledge, resources and passion to provide a housing experience that supports student growth.
We, encourage new students to live in one of our vibrant on-campus communities which provides the opportunity to enjoy on-campus convenience to classes, evening programming and sporting events. Living on campus allows you to explore your interests in depth with other students and have the added benefit of interacting with and learning from faculty and administrators in addition to your classroom experiences.
