Roadrunner Camp
UTSA's Tradition and Spirit Transition Camp
Roadrunner Camp is a two-day one-night, high-energy experience for any new student. Participants attend a camp experience at the T Bar M Ranch in New Braunfels, Texas. The trip includes overnight accommodations, meals, transportation and a schedule jam-packed with exclusive UTSA activities and events. Students will understand what it really means to live out the spirit and tradition of UTSA! The cost of this camp is $125 per person. Grants are available. Space is limited.
ROWDYS Camp
UTSA’s Strength Building and Leadership Development Camp
Change your academic and social experience at UTSA! Join us for ROWDYS Camp in the fall semester for a 3 day and 2 night experience. Participants will examine their top 5 strengths, as determined by the Strengths Quest Assessment, and how they can use them to become better students at UTSA. Camp is free, but space is limited. Students must be a first-time freshman or freshman transfer student for the fall.
Roadrunner Adventure Trips
UTSA’s Small Group Kayaking & Camping Trip
New students that participate in a fall orientation program are eligible to attend a two-day, one-night Roadrunner Adventure Trip. The trip includes a 14-mile river kayak expedition with camping in tents along the river. No experience is required to participate—just a sense of adventure and a willingness to have fun. The cost of this trip is $100 per person and includes all camping/kayaking gear, transportation and meals. Adventure trips are typically in June and July, and space is limited.
