WELCOME TO ROADRUNNER DAYS


Roadrunner Days is a series of events and activities designed to provide the tools and resources you'll need to succeed both in and out of the classroom. New students are expected to attend Roadrunner Days. Roadrunner Days is scheduled prior to the beginning of classes and are designed to introduce the campus community to our new students and to allow new students to make connections with one another. The University Fall Convocation is on the first Monday of Roadrunner Days, and there are several activities planned during this time to help make a student's transition to UTSA a smooth one. Students who have attended and participated in Roadrunner Days indicate it is an important part of learning about being a student in college at UTSA Experience Roadrunner Days and jump-start your college career! This program will set you up for a successful year at UTSA. Roadrunner Days gives you opportunities to preview campus life and experience the excitement of UTSA's growing campus.

UTSA's annual Roadrunner Days starts off with Move In, ends with Roadrunners Late Night and has entertainment, free food, music and everything else in between.

WHY IS ROADRUNNER DAYS REQUIRED?

The University strives to do as much as possible to help you become a successful college student. The Roadrunner Days program has been designed to do just that. Students who attend the program start their UTSA careers on the right foot! New students are required to attend Roadrunner Days.Should there be compelling reasons for your inability to attend, please fill out the information in the nonattendance form to explain your circumstances.

Is there a cost to attend Roadrunner Days?

There is no cost to attend Roadrunner Days.

WILL I HAVE TIME TO TAKE CARE OF PERSONAL BUSINESS?

Yes. As part of the schedule, there will be time for you to stop by financial aid, go to the bookstore and take care of other personal matters.

ARE THE EVENING ACTIVITIES REQUIRED?

No. However, we strongly encourage students to attend. The evening activities give students the opportunity to meet other people within the UTSA community, plus there will be free food and free t-shirts at many of the evening events!
