Minimum Standards
To improve the overall quality of the fraternity and sorority experience at the University, the chapters developed a set of standards in January 1995 that was implemented in 1997. Over the years, these standards have been updated to reflect the changing Greek community.
The Fraternity & Sorority Minimum Standards formally known as Greek Excellence has been created in conjunction with the fraternity and sorority presidents as a means to establish the minimum standards for social Greek organizations at UTSA. Fraternities and sororities hold themselves to a high standard and the university supports these standards and will help the organizations achieve them.
