Miscellaneous Scholarships
These scholarships are from various scholarship organizations, foundations, businesses, etc., that usually come in for advertisement from late September to early March. They are in the form of actual applications or web links. The applications or links are posted in the hallway rack located outside Student Financial Aid & Enrollment Services Center (FAESC), Downtown FAESC, and in some cases in specific departments. Students are encouraged to periodically check these locations for scholarship opportunities.

What if I do not attend UTSA and my donor sent my scholarship check to UTSA?
If a student is not enrolled at UTSA at Census Date, funds will be refunded to the donor, not the student. If a student decides not to attend UTSA and the scholarship check has already been sent to UTSA, the student must notify their donor and Student Financial Aid and Enrollment Services so that the check/funds can be returned to the donor as soon as possible. UTSA cannot transfer scholarship funds to another institution. It will be up to the donor to send funds to the new institution.
