Each member represents one of the 6 major areas within Student Affairs on behalf of the respective Associate Vice President.

Assessment Leadership Team responsibilities:

  • Attend monthly leadership team meetings to provide updates regarding the areas you represent.

  • Communicate information and updates from these meetings, including deadlines, to the areas you represent.

  • Assist in leading strategic planning and assessment initiatives for the division, collaborating with the Director of Strategic Planning and Assessment.

  • Serve as a resource to the areas you represent to develop and streamline assessment strategies.

Each member represents one of the 19 departments within Student Affairs.

Assessment Team responsibilities:

  • Meet with the appropriate individuals in your department to develop and monitor assessment initiatives, focusing on the outcomes to be addressed each year.

  • Complete documents and reports needed for the Student Affairs strategic planning and assessment cycle.

  • Enter requested information into TracDat on behalf of your department.

  • Serve as a resource to the department you represent to develop and streamline assessment strategies.

Office Functions:

  • Communicate regarding strategic planning and assessment concepts, terms, outcomes and processes.

  • Connect strategic planning and assessment efforts for the division. Coordinate assessment teams and report to the executive leadership team, vice president and university representatives regarding progress.

  • Collaborate with departments and teams regarding learning and operational outcomes and associated assessment methods.

  • Create a centralized repository of information. Contribute to reports including the Student Affairs Annual Report publication.
