Dear Colleagues,

I am excited to have this opportunity to work with you in this interim period as we continue to advance the goals and objectives of Student Affairs.  During my time at UTSA, I have been very impressed with the talent and commitment of the dedicated staff members within this division.  I look forward to drawing on your expertise in the coming months as we work together in moving UTSA to the next level.

I also want to express our gratitude to Ysabel Trinidad for her outstanding service to UTSA and Student Affairs.  By the end of the Fall Semester, we should have three major construction projects underway—the Campus Recreation expansion (currently ongoing), Laurel Village and Phase III of the University Center.  Ysabel played an essential role in moving these projects forward, and her wealth of knowledge--as well as her diligence and dedication--will be sorely missed.  We wish her the best in her new role at the University of Washington at Tacoma and have no doubt that she will be very successful.

Lastly, thank you for your hard work over the summer preparing for a new and exciting year!

Kevin S. Price

Volunteers are needed from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days.  You will be helping the students and their families move personal items into their rooms.  Pepsi products will be provided for everyone.

Career Services from a satisfied student

“I just wanted to say thanks again for counseling me about getting an internship.  It has been such a blast-I am having so much fun and have met and spoke with every executive here at US Airways!  This program is really amazing, and I really hope some more kids from our school will be able to come in the future.”
