Leader Summit is seeking educational session proposals for the 2006 conference to be held on Saturday, September 16th from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM in the UTSA University Center. 

 

Purpose

Leader Summit’s purpose is to:

  • Provide opportunities for student leaders to learn from each other
  • Provide participants the opportunity to learn practical leadership skills
  • Invigorate our organization leaders as they begin a new academic year
  • Strengthen the connection between our student organization leaders and the Student Activities office

 

Session Guidelines

When planning your educational session proposals, please consider the following:

  • Your audience will consist of new and seasoned leaders
  • Participants may have varied levels of knowledge and experience with the topic
  • Creativity is important in presentation style, format and title.  Highly participatory formats are generally well received
  • Consider having a student co-presenter assist in designing and facilitating the session

Miscellaneous Information

  • Breakfast and lunch will be provided to all presenters.
  • Presenter is responsible for providing copies of handouts to all participants
  • Presenter is responsible for providing their own computer/laptop if one is needed for their session.
