UTSA Homecoming 2007 – Mark your Calendars Now! Mark your calendars for February 15, 16, and 17 and join the entire UTSA community in celebrating Homecoming 2007. Our theme this year is “Tradition-Spirit-Pride”. The Homecoming game will be against the Texas State Bobcats and make plans now to attend the Rowdy Rampage on Friday, February 16, for a great night of fireworks, music, dancing and fun. The Homecoming festivities will begin at the Downtown Campus on Thursday, February 15, with the third annual Jazz in the Plaza. Stop by the University Center Information Desk or the Downtown Campus Student Activities Office to buy your commemorative homecoming t-shirt (only $5 each) and get ready to support the Roadrunners! Meanwhile, check out this year's full slate of events at http://utsa.edu/homecoming and get ready to wear your orange and blue -- it's time to show us your Roadrunner, UTSA!

Third Annual Family of the Year Award
The 3rd annual Family of the Year award will be presented February 17th, 2007 during halftime of this year’s Homecoming Game. This award is intended to honor the role that families play as they support UTSA students. Its time for students to show the entire UTSA community what your family is all about! Do you know a particular family that should be recognized? Prizes for the winning family include:
· Two airline tickets compliments of Southwest Airlines · Complimentary accommodations at a local hotel of the winner's choice · Grocery gift card compliments of H-E-B · A special plaque commemorating the award

Schedule: Go Red for Women Luncheon/Health Fair
Reinstatement of Title Dean of Students for AVP for Student Life Effective February 1st, UTSA is reinstating the title of Dean of Students for the AVP for Student Life position. This change is consistent with the title referenced by The Rules and Regulations of the Board of Regents of The University of Texas System for the position that oversees key program areas within the Office of Student Life. The functional areas of the Office of Student Life will remain the same.
