The AIDS epidemic is a global emergency t=

affects people in every country on earth. UNAIDS estimates that a total of =
35.9
million adults and children are living with HIV, 4.3 million adults and
children were newly diagnosed with HIV in 2006 and 2.9 million adults and
children had died of AIDS in 2006.
