Announcements - Alcohol Awareness Week UTSA will recognize National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week October 19-26. Various free activities throughout the week will promote Responsible Drinking as well as educational events on drunk driving and alcohol poisoning. This year’s key events are the NASCAR Drunk Driving Simulator on October 19 from 10-4 in the UC Window Lounge and the Campus Crawl on October 25 from 7-midnight. Campus Crawl will consist of several 45 minute parties with educational games and information on binge drinking, dangers of drinking games, club drugs and taking responsibility for the choices you make. Inclusion & Community Engagement Center Update
On September 28, 2007, VOICES and the Inclusion & Community Engagement Center sponsored the 15th Annual Babcock Road Clean-Up. Over 250 students participated in the event and a 3 mile stretch of Babcock Road was cleaned by the volunteers. Special thanks to Kelsey Bratcher, Barry McKinney, Chris Hargraves, Charlin Jones, John Montoya, Ann Margaret Trujillo, Sandy Norman, Chrissy Greenhaw, Misty Kelley, Sally Crouser, Paul Crouser, and Marlon Anderson for serving as drivers during the event. A big thank you goes to Jana Kennelly and Christina Selk as well for helping secure donations from Sam’s Club and Blue Bonnet Holdings. We hope to see you all out there again next year!
