This past week 29 UTSA students and 6 staff members dedicated their Spring Break to service. These 35 UTSA students and staff participated in UTSA’s Alternative Spring Break (ASB) program. The ASB program has been engaging students in service during spring break for several years now through the Volunteer Organization Involving Community Education and Service (VOICES) and the Volunteer Services. Admissions Hosts 1,860 Roadrunner Guests

Admission team photo

Last week campus might have been quiet, but the Admissions office was busy in the Ballrooms hosting 1,860 guests on campus. The Welcome Center team did a fantastic job at coordinating a successful campus experience for all that visited.

Special recognition goes out to Georgina Rodriguez and Jeanette Francovich for stepping in as leaders and making sure all logistics were in place.

Also, campus tours would not have been successful if we did not have UTSA students available to share their experiences with all that visited. THANK YOU SAO’s - your devotion to providing campus tours during Spring Break for our office is extremely appreciated!

Thank you to all Admissions staff members that ensured committee files were being completed, the Welcome Center was covered, registration was fully staffed for our tours, and much more. Last week would not have been possible if it wasn’t for each of you!
