Our Fullest Potential

Following last week’s Student Affairs’ Conference, I’m feeling refreshed, refined, and ready to continue my mission in serving students and families, to the best of my ability. I enjoyed connecting with others and learning from my colleagues at the conference. It is my hope to foster those connection throughout the remaining months of the academic year.

Each day we embrace a complex mission: connecting, collaborating, creating, and communicating with others and assisting our students to REACH their fullest potential as an engaged Roadrunner. It can be daunting. Let’s not forget that we all have different challenges and anxieties and we need to encourage each other.

We must encourage each other as Student Affairs professionals to REACH our fullest potential. Help colleagues see past fears – whatever they may be. With that mind, I wanted to share this video with you. View it as a team and discuss the fears (as well as the challenges) in becoming the best Student Affairs professional.
