First Year Experience
Freshmen, Make the Most of Your First Year at UTSA!
Enroll in AIS 1203!
Academic Inquiry & Scholarship (AIS 1203) explores the diverse ideas, values, and practices used within the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences to investigate and create knowledge. Using a thematic approach this course will introduce you to the wonders that influence our society and the human experience. Through videos, group work, and lively discussion you will have the opportunity to learn how we understand and impact the world around us. During the fall 2013 semester, the course will thematically address inquiry by examining how the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences approach the role of food in our lives.
You can register for AIS 1203 during freshman orientation. There are a limited number of spots available for the fall 2013 semester, so be the first to sign up!
