Phase 2 - TRAINING MODULES (ONLINE)
This training component includes several online modules that focus on different content/skill areas. To complete this phase, TAs will review the content and take a final quiz for each module. A final exam integrates questions from all modules.
Enrollment: TAs will be automatically enrolled in the online modules as soon as their TA appointments have been finalized by Human Resources. Detailed instructions to access the modules will be sent to TAs by email.
Phase 3 - FOLLOW-UP SESSION (IN PERSON)
This training component involves a follow-up session to:
- Offer TAs the chance to ask questions about issues they have experienced during their first month on the job.
- Give TAs the opportunity to prepare and give a mock presentation on a topic in their own discipline. Following their presentations, TAs will receive feedback and recommendations from their peers.
