Construction begins at 1604 Campus on playing fields

(July 21, 2005)--Construction has begun at the UTSA 1604 Campus on three new playing fields for intramural and club sports.

RSS FeedsThe current intramural field site will be blocked off for four months to construct the new fields.
In the photo at left, the construction area is outlined in red. The Recreation and Wellness Center is top center in the photo.
Other closures resulting from field construction are the road to the parking lot past the baseball fields (near Rattlesnake Hill) and the gravel service drive from the Recreation and Wellness Center.
The sidewalk from parking lot 12 to the baseball field will remain open.
