(August 4, 2005)--The UTSA Purchasing Office is sponsoring the UTSA Walk for Women's Athletics Golf Tournament on Saturday, August 20 at the Pecan Valley Golf Club, 4700 Pecan Valley Dr.

Prizes will be awarded to the first and second place teams, as well as the golfers with the longest drive and closest to the pin. Teams can purchase mulligans for a dollar with a five-dollar team maximum. In addition to a raffle for prizes, all tournament participants will receive goody bags.
All proceeds from the event will go to the UTSA Women's Athletics Scholarship Fund. Deadline for entry is August 17. Checks for registration fees should be made payable to Jeanette Portillo.
