Exhibit of photographs by President Ricardo Romo runs through Sept. 30

(Aug. 31, 2005)--UTSA and the Joan Grona Gallery present the photography exhibit, "Vistas Mexicanas," through Sept. 30 at the Joan Grona Gallery in the Blue Star Contemporary Art Center, Suite 112, Alamo and Probandt streets.
UTSA President Ricardo Romo took the photographs in the exhibit during a recent trip to Guanajuato, San Miguel Allende and Dolores, Mexico. Romo visited Mexico to discuss exchange and study abroad programs with representatives from several universities and municipalities.

The photos in the exhibit are for sale with proceeds benefiting the Fox Tech Scholarship Fund. Romo is a graduate of Louis W. Fox Technical High School, known as Fox Tech. As part of First Friday, the Joan Grona Gallery will be open 4-9 p.m., Sept. 2.
