Facilities Services is excited about SECC -- It's not too late to host a meeting in your office

(Sept. 15, 2005)--The employees of the UTSA Office of Facilities Services is organized and excited about giving to UTSA's State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC). Their last committee meeting was early this week, where they finalized SECC meetings for their Downtown and 1604 Campus employees.

The annual charitable campaign, which runs through Sept. 23, offers the opportunity to give to helping agencies including those supporting Hurricane Katrina survivors.

For Downtown Campus Facilities Services staff, there was a program Wednesday in the Frio Street Building, where a guest speaker discussed the benefits of SECC, and staff members enjoyed refreshments and filled out the forms for their annual contributions. Similar meetings for 1604 Campus Facilities Services staff members will be Wednesday, Sept. 21 at the Facilities Services Annex.

It's not too late for your department to arrange a motivational meeting and a guest speaker to help UTSA achieve high participation in SECC. For more information, contact Jennifer Storm at (210) 458-4009.

To donate, complete and return your enrollment form to your department's SECC Champion or donate online.
