(Oct. 25, 2005)--The UTSA Alumni Association's bi-annual Grad Fest is 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 25 and 26 at the University Center first floor, 1604 Campus, and 2-6 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 26 at the bookstore in the Buena Vista Street Building, Downtown Campus.
The event provides fall graduates the opportunity to make all of their commencement purchases at one time. Grad Fest is held each fall and spring semester at UTSA. Seniors will be able to order an official UTSA ring, announcements, caps and gowns, a diploma frame, sign up for Alumni Association membership and pose for a graduation picture (1604 Campus only).

"The Alumni Association is proud to present such an opportunity to our graduating seniors," said Jane Burton, director of alumni programs. "This is a time of celebration and excitement, and we want our graduates to know we are here to help them take care of their needs at such a significant time in their lives."
Students will have the opportunity to speak with campus representatives from Army ROTC, Career Services, the Graduate School and the Graduation Coordination office. There are also many services for future alumni to take advantage of including buying auto, home and property insurance, student loan consolidation and information on test preparation courses.
Students who purchase a diploma during Grad Fest will save $12 on shipping and handling. Also, it is the last opportunity for students to purchase an official UTSA ring with guaranteed graduation delivery.
