Student designs needed for homecoming poster
(Oct. 3, 2005)--The Student Homecoming Committee needs the creative talent of UTSA students for the 2006 Homecoming Commemorative Poster Contest. Contest entries are due Thursday, Nov. 3.
The grand prize winner will receive $250 and a trophy. Students placing second and third also will receive trophies. The grand prize winning entry will be used on all homecoming publicity and promotions including posters, Web sites and calendars.

Entries must be designed by individual UTSA students; group projects are not allowed in the contest. Entries will be judged by a panel of students, faculty, staff and alumni.
Entry forms are available at the Office of Events Management, University Center Room 1.04.02, 1604 Campus. The entry form includes the contest rules and guidelines. The winners will be announced Monday, Nov. 21.
UTSA Homecoming 2006 is February 9-11. The homecoming game is Saturday, Feb. 11 against the Lamar Cardinals. The Homecoming 2006 theme is "Tradition -- Spirit -- Pride."
