Designation as an early-voting site helps promote civic awareness in the UTSA community and provides a convenient voting location for UTSA faculty, staff and students.
The election ballot includes Texas constitutional amendments and a $450 million bond to benefit the Alamo Community College District (ACCD).
The bond would finance ACCD facilities repairs at the four community colleges, construction of a northeast campus, and nursing and med tech program expansion through a property tax increase of 3 cents per $100 over the current tax rate of 10.7 cents per $100.
