UTSA community bundles up during cold spell

By Tim Brownlee
Assistant Director of Public Affairs

(Dec. 12, 2005)--Winter temperatures came early this year to UTSA and San Antonio with freezing temperatures locally and in the Hill Country.

Icy roads brought a late opening to the UTSA campuses on Thursday and some finals were shifted to Friday evening.

Pictured are scenes at the 1604 Campus during the cold spell. Normal temperatures this time of year are in the mid 60s.

In the top photo, the low angle of winter light illuminates a walkway. In the middle photo, students try to stay warm as they go to finals. In the lower photo, is a shot of colorful leaves at the 1604 Campus.
