(March 6, 2006)--The UTSA Alumni Association hosted a Connections Breakfast on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at the Marriott Northwest hotel, Loop 410 at Interstate 10.

The breakfast event is a way for alumni to share information and personal experiences with other UTSA graduates. The quarterly breakfasts feature speakers offering their insight, experience and advice.

The speaker at last week's event was Dick Schlosberg, veteran of the communications business, former publisher and CEO of the Los Angeles Times and the Denver Post, and a member of the eBay board of directors.

The UTSA Alumni Association promotes and serves the university through programs that maintain relationships between students and faculty, forge new community partnerships and encourage continuing educational and professional development.

With 64,000 UTSA alumni, the Alumni Association offers many opportunities to help alumni become reacquainted and to meet community leaders.

The Connections Breakfast are open to the public.
