Gas outage set for July 29 at 1604 Campus
(July 27, 2006)--Natural gas will be turned off in some buildings on the 1604 Campus from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, July 29. Buildings will remain open as testing and any necessary repairs are made to gas lines.

Gas will be turned off July 29 only in these buildings:
- Arts Building
- Biosciences Building
- Business Building
- Engineering Building
- Humanities and Social Sciences Building
- John Peace Library Building
- Main Building
- Multidisciplinary Studies Building
- Science Building
- parking garage
There will be planned gas outages each Saturday in August in 1604 Campus buildings as the Office of Facilities Services prepares the campus for required gas line testing by the state fire marshall's office. The deadline for testing is Sept. 1.
