By Cindy Brockwell
Development Assistant, Office of Student Affairs

(Aug. 24, 2006)--Roadrunner Days comes to a close with the final event, the 11th annual Howdy Rowdy Bash, from 8 to 11 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 24 at Sombrilla Plaza on the 1604 Campus.

The event will bring Hawaii to UTSA with hula dancing, Hawaiian drums and a fire knife dance.

UTSA community members are invited to stop by and enjoy the spirit rally, free food, games and great prizes.

Roadrunner Days marks the official kick-off of the new school year. Each August, UTSA welcomes new and returning students by offering a wide selection of programs and activities to assist new students in the transition to college and to welcome back returning students.
