Enrique Martinez and Stacy Berlfein , UTSA students in the master of fine arts program, explore "transition" as a passage from one state, stage, subject or appearance to another. Touching on symbolism and the subconscious, the artists approach human psychology with an affinity for the unusual and enigmatic.
Gallery hours are noon to 6 p.m., Friday-Sunday, or by appointment. Blue Star Contemporary Art Center is at S. Alamo and Probandt streets, south of downtown San Antonio.
