(Sept. 12, 2006)--To get the low-down on campus art, entertainment and cultural events, the UTSA and San Antonio communities have all the information they need at their fingertips with the 458-ARTS (2787) hotline.
Established in 2004, (210) 458-ARTS provides the who, what and where for UTSA events open to students, faculty, staff and area residents.

Updated weekly, the recorded announcement lists concerts, recitals, exhibits, performances and lectures that involve UTSA students, faculty, staff and alumni. The 458-ARTS hotline also serves as a community resource for San Antonians interested in university events.
458-ARTS is an outgrowth of the 2004 Campus Life Initiative when additional on-campus student housing was under construction. With more students living on campus, UTSA wanted to promote the multitude of university-sponsored, free-time activities.
